Vipul Shah rubbishes reports about John-Genelia’s marriage

Producer Vipul Shah has been left aghast by the speculations surrounding the lead actors of his upcoming movie ‘Force’, John Abraham and Genelia D' Souza.

Reportedly, Pandit Bhagwat Guruji has claimed performing real rituals for the duo's marriage, but Shah insists that the wedding did take place, but it was for a scene in the movie.

In a press statement, the producer said, "Countless number of weddings have been performed in Hindi cinema, but this is the first time that I have come across someone so keen to be in the limelight that he can go far enough to claim to have married Genelia D'Souza off."

"I don't hold anything against Pandit Bhagwat Guruji but will not let anyone point a finger at the leading lady of my film in this manner. He is only looking out for his 15 minutes of fame without any real standing," he added.

Mantras chanted were real, say sources
Scuttlebutt has it that though the wedding scene was a part of the movie, all the mantras and other rituals performed were very much like those of a real wedding.

Moreover, soon after the wedding process was complete, the said pandit pronounced John and Genelia as husband and wife.

Slamming the claims, Genelia's spokesperson said, "The bizarreness of the pundit's claims is astounding. It is extremely unfortunate that someone would try to take advantage of just being in the same scene as Genelia D'Souza in this manner. This truly is an eccentric attempt to grab the headlines."

John and Genelia’s truth
It may be noted that actor John Abraham has recently come out in the open and admitted that he was the culprit behind his split with his lady love Bipasha Basu.

Thus, the guy is very much single, and Genelia is dating actor Riteish Deshmukh, if sources are to be believed.

Well, we hope that the controversy will do some good to Vipul's movie, if not to John and Genelia.
