Salman Khan to premier ‘Chillar Party’ for slum kids

Reportedly, Salman Khan is planning to hold a special premiere of his debut home production ‘Chillar Party’ for the slum kids.

The handsome hunk loves children and so he has decided to give slum kids a chance to watch the kids flick, even before anybody else gets to see it.

An insider said, "Kids hold special place in Salman's heart. Since this is his first production and is based on kids, he thought it was necessary to have a screening for them. Salman strongly wants more and more kids to watch the movie because the movie has a strong message to give out."

Confirming the news, director Vikas Behl said, “He was always very keen to host the premiere for underprivileged children. He has removed two days from his busy schedule for the screening."

The screening will be held for slum kids coming under the NGOs associated with Being Human.

Salman’s special cameo in ‘Chillar Party’
While Salman Khan had decided not to act in his own home production until extremely necessary, the actor will play a cameo role in the movie.

He may also become a part of a special item song for the film that has Ranbir Kapoor as an item boy.

Vikas Bahl said, “Salman is not playing a role in the film. He doesn't even have an item number in the film. He is just producing the film. Even in the promotional videos, he's playing the producer. Actually, we never approached Salman Khan to be the producer of the film.”

“When Salman decided to produce the film, he didn't ask us to make any changes. We had already made a trailer and wanted him to give his voice for it, which he did. Then we went to him for promos, and he shot them,” added the director.

Why kids were chosen for movie?
Talking about choosing kids for the movie, the director said that kids are innocent and this is shown very well onscreen.

Nitesh Tiwari, who is the co-director of the film, said, 'We chose the kids on certain points. We wanted the kids to be themselves in the film. There was no point to change them. We also did a basic workshop with them.”

‘Chillar Party’ will hit the theatres this Friday!
