Reportedly, the Bong bombshell is all set to share screen with the ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ star R. Madhavan in an untitled rom-com by Ashwini Chaudhary.
Talking about the love story, a source informed, “He quite liked the idea and was also excited when he got to know that Bipasha was being approached to play the female lead. Though they have known each other, the actors have never worked together.”
"Ashwini will finish the shoot of this film before he moves on to direct Ghayal Returns. If things go as planned, it will release early next year," said the insider.
‘Singularity’ gave me new perspective on acting, says Bipasha
About her Hollywood debut ‘Singularity’ opposite Josh Harnett, the lady said that she was quite upbeat about the movie and it was an experience she would carry with herself forever.
During a recent candid conversation with the tabloids, the 32-year-old star said, “Singularity has been a fantastic experience. I have been in Bollywood for a long time now, but this film gave me a completely fresh take towards acting.”
“It just introduced me to a new kind of acting and a new kind of cinema, which for an artist is greatly rejuvenating and extremely necessary from time to time,” added the actress.
I bumped into Joffe and got the role, says Bipasha
The movie that also stars Abhay Deol is directed by Roland Joffe and Bipasha recalls landing the role by chance.
“Any actor would give their right arm to work with Joffe and for me it happened so easily. I kind of bumped into him and he just loved my voice. Next thing I know, I was cast in the lead role,” said Basu.
She said that she had been waiting for an action role and ‘Singularity’ was the prefect platform for her.
“Every year has been very exciting for me. I try to reinvent myself as an artist every time I do a movie. One has to do these things in a cut-throat business such as ours,” said the actress.
