Reportedly, Vikram Bhatt is going to direct the movie titled ‘Raaz 3’ and he said, “It’s great to reconnect with Mukeshji (Mukesh Bhatt) and the company (Vishesh Films). During Raaz, I was a young, unsure director who many thought was headed the Ramsay way.”
“But to everyone’s surprise, Raaz brought horror back in a big way and signaled a victory for the small film,” revealed Vikram.
‘Raaz 3’ in 3D
Hollywood’s renowned studio Fox Star Studios will be distributing Vishesh Films ‘Raaz 3’, which is going to be made in 3D and will release by the end of 2012.
Confirming that the movie would be in 3D, he said, “Yes, Raaz 3, like Haunted, will be made in 3D. There were many who believed Haunted didn’t merit the additional expense. Some critics even added that it was a film they wouldn’t download even in 2D. But hey, it went on to become the highest grossing horror film in Hindi.”
While Vikram does not seem to be in a mood to let the cat out of the bag too soon, buzz is that Emraan Hashmi is going to be in the ‘Raaz’ sequel.
Vikram talks about his next film ‘Dangerous Ishq’
The director is currently quite busy with his upcoming venture ‘Dangerous Ishq’, which is a supernatural thriller.
Talking about the good business his movies have done, Vikram informed, “All my horror films made money. Raaz made a lot, 1920 (2008) was a good earner and Shaapit (2009) was a ‘coverage’ film. So yes, with Haunted I knew I was in ‘safe’ territory.”
