Bhansali and Karan Johar are enemies no more

Anything is possible in Bollywood and this was evident yet again when after years of animosity, renowned filmmakers Karan Johar and Sanjay Leela Bhansali befriended each other.

Reportedly, the two directors, who were known to have used harsh words for each other a few months ago, recently met warmly on the sets of a reality show.

The Times Of India quoted a unit source as saying, "There have been many problems between the two. However, they met like gentlemen. Both of them spoke for some time and cleared the air.

“Karan is extremely close to the channel and had gone there to announce his association with the show. Bhansali is the host of the show and so they met.”

What had gone wrong?
Well, the animosity between the two had developed after Bhansali’s ‘Saawariya’ released and the director took out his anger on SRK and Farah Khan through their common friend Karan Johar.

He took a dig on Karan Johar’s hit celeb chat show ‘Koffee With Karan’ and said that he would never watch the ‘frivolous show’.

The wrath came after KJo joked about Bhansali’s movie during a tete-a-tete with Sonam Kapoor on the chat show.

Karan’s reaction
Moreover, after Bhansali’s criticism, Karan said, “Anyone who chooses the media as a form of communication is clearly not a friend. I think he needs to learn to take himself a lot more lightly than he does. It will be a good thing for him."

However, it seems the two have decided to bury the hatchet now.

"The rivalry has been going on for sometime now. Now that Sanjay has patched up with SRK and Farah, patching up with Karan was on the cards,” confirmed a source.
