According to the hospital bulletin, the South legend Rajinikanth is taking his food by himself and is spending time with his family members.

The megastar has been kept in the Intensive Care Unit only to prevent infections and to restrict unnecessary crowd visiting him and troubling him.

A Bulletin released by SRMU, where Rajini has been admitted, stated, “Thorough investigations and appropriate treatment made him comfortable and his vital parameters have returned to normal. Even though he was not permitted to see visitors, he spends his time with family members and takes oral diet by himself. He has been kept in intensive care to restrict visitors and avoid infections.”

B-town celebs express their concern for Rajini on Twitter
The Shehanshah of Bollywood Amitabh Bachchan, who has shared screen space with Rajini in a couple of films, tweeted, “All lovers of Rajnikanth ... it has been disturbing to learn of his hospitalization. I have spoken to him and been in touch with wife. Rajinikanth is improving gradually, she informs me, today by sms. We hope and pray that he recovers as soon as possible (sic).”

Choreographer turned filmmaker Farah Khan blogged, “I’m a huge fan of Rajini sir and I am really praying for him to get well. He’s a phenomenon and still so humble. It’s no wonder half the world is praying for him.”

Celebrity photographer Atul Kasbekar posted, “Hoping he gets well soon. Rajini sir is the embodiment of a legend.”

Fans pray for Rajini
Rajinikanth has made a place for himself in the hearts of millions across the globe.

Ever since the news of his poor health broke, his have been praying for his speedy recovery.

Graphic artist Karthik Jairaman, a fan of Rajini said, “I’ve been keeping a tab on every update that’s coming from the Chennai hospital. I also offered prayers for his recovery at the local temple. With so many people’s wishes, I’m sure he will be okay.”

“Since the news of his ill health broke, everyone in my family has offered prasad for his recovery at the temple in our locality,” said Divya Iyer, another fan of Rajini.
