‘Delhi Belly’ may hurt sentiments of some sections of society


Aamir Khan’s upcoming home production ‘Delhi Belly’ will not only see chocolate boy Imran Khan as a mean guy, but the language used in the film may also offend sentiments of some.


Reportedly, director Abhinay Deo feels that the adults-only movie will hurt the feelings of some sections of the society.

"The script is outstanding. It's so funny. As a director I could take that script and go further. It's a very my kind of a film," said the director, who also directed ‘Game’.

Imran Khan, Vir Das, Shenaz Treasurywala and Kunal Roy Kapoor play pivotal roles in the movie. Akshat Verma has penned down the script of ‘Delhi Belly’ that releases on July 1.

‘Delhi Belly’ to boost Imran’s career
Aamir Khan launched his nephew Imran Khan in 2008 with ‘Jaane Tu.. Ya Jaane Na’ and he feels that ‘Delhi Belly’ will boost Imran’s career.

Reports claimed that Mr. Perfectionist believes that Imran has not tasted much success post his debut and there was nothing wrong in it, as there has to be a learning process for every actor and mistakes are also part of the game.

Aamir told the scribes that if ‘Delhi Belly’ becomes a hit, Imran Khan’s career will reach a new high and he will become one of the most sought-after actors’ of B-town.

Talking about the movie, the excited ‘Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak’ actor said, “The film is not for kids. It is for the youngsters and those who are young at heart.”

When asked why the making of ‘Delhi Belly’ took so long, Aamir said, “It is my fault. I can work only on one film at a time. In Aamir Khan Productions, the final cut stays with the producer. So, I make sure that I sit on the edit of the film and also work on its promotions.”
