Reportedly, speculations are high on a possible love-affair between the two actors, who have been spotted cozying up with each other quite often these days.

Like the others in tinsel ville, the duo too has refuted all rumors and even though they have been following each other like a shadow, they maintain that they are just friends.

Slamming the buzz in town regarding their relationship, Neil said, “Asin is a very close friend, and I see no reason why I should shy away from that. I am fond of her and we are good friends, but I don`t need to recommend her to anyone.”

Even Neil’s manager confirmed that the actor was not dating Asin, while Asin chose to keep mum on the subject.

Asin and Neil in ‘Pocketmaar’
Asin and Neil met each other after they signed Ravi Kumar’s next titled ‘Pocketmaar’ and things have been going great for the two ever since.

While the movie is almost complete, there is no news about its release date. However, sources revealed that the chemistry between the two will be a major highlight of ‘Pocketmaar’.

And not only this, the two are even advising each other on types of roles they should prefer, and Asin also bought a new car on Neil’s recommendation.

Reports claimed that newcomer director Hriday Shetty had recently asked Neil to play the lead role in his unnamed directorial debut, and Neil agreed for it and asked Hriday to cast Asin as the leading lady.

"Hriday was shocked when Asin not only refused the offer but also told him the role wouldn't suit Neil either," revealed a source.

Another insider said, “Asin and Neil have become very close to each other. Their combined decision about the Hriday Shetty film was kind of weird and hard to explain.”
