Scuttlebutt has it that the two were shooting for a religious sequence amid thousands of lit diyas, when Priyanka’s lehenga caught fire, but luckily she escaped unhurt.
Confirming the incidence, a production source said that a Ganpati puja scene was being shot, when both the actors had to experience some fearful moments.
In a conversation with the Mid Day, an insider said, “Her lehenga caught fire from the diyas of aarti and got burnt at the edges. She noticed it quickly and wasn't hurt, but had to change her lehenga and wear a new one."
Hrithik injures his hand
It was reported that even the ‘Just Dance’ judge injured his hand while rotating thalis, during the puja scene.
"During one rotation, one diya (lamp) toppled over, spilling hot oil on his hand [and] scalding it," informed the source.
After the incident, the brave Piggy Chops changed into another Indian dress and continued shooting, as if nothing had happened.
Even Hrithik was back to work after applying ice to his scorched hand and dismissed it as a minor injury, with nothing to worry about.
Priyanka visits Ajmer Sharif
Meanwhile, a busy Priyanka has unveiled her religious side after she took a much-needed breather from ‘Agneepath’ and decided to visit Ajmer Sharif and Pushkar holy shrines.
While undertaking the journey, the B-town hottie tweeted, “On my way to visit Ajmer Sharif with my friends. Have so much to be grateful for.”
After her short trip, she was back in Mumbai the same day and tweeted, “After Ajmer Sharif and Pushkarji heading back to Mumbai.”
Well, seems as if she went to the holy places to thank God for saving her from the fire incident.
