Sanjay Leela Bhansali had written the script of 'Khamoshi' with Amitabh Bachchan in mind.

It’s reported that after watching the movie the High Court judges have given the verdict to release the movie as scheduled on April 22 since the film doesn’t portray Goa negatively.
Justice S C Dharmadhikari and Justice F M Reis of the division bench have given the go-ahead to release the film after DMD’s filmmaker removed the explicitly distasteful content that was seen in the promos.
Speaking about ‘Dum Maaro Dum’s release date, Fox Star Studio International Private Limited (FSSIPL) representative Dina Duttani stated, "It will be released in 20 countries at 350 international locations and 1,000 theatres and multiplexes in India."
'Dum Maaro Dum' promos changed
The DMD promos which caught the attention for its explicit dialogue ‘liquor is cheap and women are cheaper than liquor’ didn’t go down well with Goans.
Hence, Goa based media professional Savio filed a petition to ban the release of DMD as the promos of the movie showed Goa and women in a bad light.
However, the makers of DMD have now edited the promos and have changed the word ‘women’ to relationship. It’s learnt that the original content has been changed only for the national promos, while it will still remain the same in the international promos.
There is nothing objectionable in DMD, says Abhishek
Rohan Sippy’s ‘Dum Maaro Dum’ has been in the news ever since the film ran into controversies after the Goa government was annoyed that their state has been shown in a bad light.
However, when director Rohan Sippy was asked why he showed Goa in a negative way, Rohan stated, “I have read reports in newspapers, but we haven’t got any official statement yet. The overall messaging of the film is not anti-Goa.
"It starts off showing Goa as a paradise on earth and then goes on to show the other side as well. Eventually it is a cops and bad guys film — a fictional story. It could have been based in any other city, but we chose Goa because of its international appeal.”
Not only Rohan, but even Abhishek recently stated that there is nothing offensive in the film.
"There is nothing objectionable in the film about Goa or its people. Producers are prepared even now to delete scenes which are being considered objectionable," stated Abhishek.
