Mika Singh involved in hit-and-run case?

It seems controversies always follow Punjabi singer Mika Singh, as after the much-talked about kissing episode with Rakhi, the crooner has now been accused of being involved in a hit-and-run case.

According to The Times of India, Mika is suspected of knocking off an auto rickshaw and then ramming his Hummer into a bus stop, located near Darshan Field Club on JP Road in Versova.

Rajshri Anant Aangane, who was riding in the auto rickshaw, had to be admitted to the nearby Cooper Hospital with critical injuries, states the tabloid report.

Eyewitnesses have confirmed seeing the black Hummer with the number MH-02/HA being driven quite rashly, and later on it was found dumped near Millat Nagar’s Movie Tower.

Mika denies driving the Hummer
Meanwhile, Mika denied owning the Hummer and said that he owned a Fortuner car and that he was not behind the wheel of the alleged car, nor was he in the city at the time of the accident.

The singer clarified, “I returned from Dubai on 9th morning and walked out of the airport at around 6am to go home in my Fortuner car. I am told this accident happened at 5 am. I don't even know the owner of this Hummer in question."

It was found that a businessman named Nitin Shenoi, who runs the Elixir Gym in Oakland Park building in Mumbai, owned the car that Mika was supposedly driving.

Sources told the police that the singer lived at Shastrinagar in Lokhandwala, and was a member of the Elixir gym.

Police tried contacting Shinoi, but he said that he was in Shirdi and would visit the police station when he returns.

Mika was driving the car, say Eyewitnesses
But, eyewitnesses including two policemen confirmed that they saw Mika running away from the car, after the incident.

The damaged auto rickshaw driver, Gyan Bahadur Chavan said, “I saw his face. It was singer Mika Singh. Before I could get out of the auto and help the injured passenger, he sped away.”

“The Versova police has said that they will call Mika for questioning as there are many eye witnesses in the case,” reported The Times of India.

Well, Mika seems to be in trouble again!
