Sanjay Leela Bhansali had written the script of 'Khamoshi' with Amitabh Bachchan in mind.

Reportedly, known for her natural acting style, the cremation ceremony of the veteran actress was performed at the Kilpakkam crematorium in Chennai on Thursday.
Talking about the yesteryear heroine’s journey in the film industry, Tamil film historian and critic, G Dhananjayan said, “Sujatha made a fantastic debut in Aval Oru Thadarkathai (1974) and was introduced by K. Balachander.”
“Since then, she moved up quickly in her career and her peak films were Annakkili (1976), Andhaman Kadhali (1977), and Vidhi (1984). She was one of the finest actresses who acted with all the top stars of 1970's and 1980's as heroine and acted in several films with Sivaji Ganesan, Kamal Haasan, Rajinikanth and Sivakumar,” he informed.
No glamorous roles for Sujatha
Hailing from Kerala, the reigning star of the Telugu film industry refrained from doing glamorous roles in her films and rose to fame solely on the basis of her superb acting skills.
The realistic actress never wore any offensive costumes and made it clear to her directors that she will not be performing any indecent scenes in her movies.
The 58-year-old actress is survived by a businessman husband Jayakar and two children, Sajith and Divya.
Industry pays her tribute
Before the actress was taken to the crematorium for her last rites, leading personalities from the South Indian film industry came to pay her a tribute.
Among those who visited her, after she took her last breath at her Mahabalipuram Road residence on the outskirts of Chennai, included Kamal Haasan, Y. Gee Mahendran, K. Balachander, K.S. Ravikumar, Srinivasan, Manobala, Latha, Saranya, Sridevi, Vittal Prasad and Rajesh.
Remembering his association with Sujatha, her co-actor Vijaykumar said, “She was always a silent performer, but after her wedding, she kept to herself even during film shoots. In the last few years, she detached herself from the film industry to a great extent.”
May her soul rest in peace.
