Recently, tabloids started buzzing with rumors that Nargis, who’s been pitched as the new love interest of actor Ranbir Kapoor, lead male star in her debut film ‘Rockstar', is spending too much time in the company of recently divorced Shayan for some time now.

According to an eye-witness, “Shayan and Nargis, who reside in Bandra have been spotted together at various hotspots in the suburb.”

The source added, “They have been dining together; going out for coffee and on long drives often. This has been happening for the past 20-25 days. Last they were seen at a Juhu Lounge watching the World Cup.”

Shayan, Nargis’s budding relationship?
Ever since news of Nargis and Shayan’s budding friendship has started, tabloids are busy speculating about the nature of their relationship.

Interestingly, no one has any idea when and how Nargis got so close to Shayan, who recently got divorce from his wife Peeya Roy Chowdhury. He was a key witness of the Jessica Lal murder case, but later turned hostile.

Till recently, Nargis and Ranbir were supposed to an “item,” hence Shayan’s sudden entrance in the scene is not just surprising, but is quite mysterious.

Sources are also claiming that the duo is getting along like house-on-fire and in mid-March, they had even flown to Goa for few days.

“Neither Nargis nor Shayan has revealed the status of their relationship to the public but the frequency of their calls, messages and meetings makes it so obvious. No two friends call each other and fight with each other for petty things,” revealed an insider.

Though Nargis could not be reached for a comment, when Shayan was contacted, at first he refused to comment on tabloid reports.

However, later agreed to talk and denied having any relationship beyond friendship with the newcomer.

“We are good friends. She knows my sister from New York,” added Shayan, who refused to answer any other questions as he was really busy.
