Priyanka Chopra was the fifth Indian woman to win the Miss World Crown and the fourth Indian...

Even though the movie opened with Abhishek Bachchan’s ‘Game’, the movie has been able to do brisk business and drew in Rs 10.5 crore in its first weekend.
Talking about how the movie came into being, the actor got evocative and said that the movie idea was inspired from a sweeper.
"I was in Miami once and was staying at a hotel where there was a sweeper employed. He was cleaning and wiping away everything that was waste. He looked very content doing his job,” recalled Jackky.
“Then in the evening when I stepped out of the hotel, I saw the same man driving away in a Lamborghini. This is when I realized how proud he was about his job and doing it with so much conviction," the actor said.
Doing what you want to do is a beautiful experience, says Jackky
The idea was quite motivating for Jackky and he understood that doing what one wanted to do was exactly what mattered and how small or big the work was, it was something that did not matter much.
“Here in India, till the time you haven't done your Engineering, Medicine or Commerce, you are termed as a 'faltu'. There a sweeper too is going about enjoying his job as well as life,” he said.
And so, the whole idea on a film on underdogs developed and his choreographer-turned-director friend Remo D'Souza loved the story idea so much that he ended up making it his first directorial venture.
About Jackky’s character in the film

And talking about his closeness with the character, Jackky added, “Everyone wrote me off in college and after my first film, so, technically, F.A.L.T.U is my story!”
