Reportedly, the ‘Oye Lucky, Lucky Oye’ star has exchanged rings with the former Miss Great Britain beauty queen under the wraps and the only guests were the couple’s parents and close friends.

And, the couple has not revealed their commitment yet as Preeti is debuting in the industry with Ekta Kapoor’s ‘Shor In The City’.

“Preeti, who created history by becoming the first woman of colour to win the Miss Great Britain title in 2006, was recently in the news for shooting a steamy love scene for the film with her American- Indian co- star, Sendhil Ramamurthy, who is best known in India as one of the lead actors of the TV show, Heroes,” informed a source.

Abhay and Preeti’s hush-hush relation
The couple had met during a party celebrating the success of Abhay’s ‘Dev D’ and buzz is that soon after Preeti shifted permanently to Mumbai to pursue a career in acting.

Rumor mills have it that Abhay was the main reason behind Preeti’s coming to India and the duo has been in a live-in-relationship for more than a year now and has been living in a flat in Juhu, owned by the actor.

While both have maintained that they are only good friends, but they have been often spotted together in Bollywood circles.

“At a recent party hosted by Ekta Kapoor, Preeti and Abhay appeared together and could not take their eyes off each other,” said a source

Couple not sporting engagement rings
The couple has decided to keep their engagement secret for the time and as a precautionary step, they have not been sporting their engagement rings.

“Despite all the cosmetic changes, the Bollywood audience is still conservative about accepting an engaged or married actress,” said a source.

There is a lot happening on the professional front for Abhay and Preeti, and both are busy shooting for their respective upcoming movies.
