Though this romantic-drama genre tumbled to impress the audience at large, SLB directed 'Guzaarish' creeped in the permanent collections in the Library of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences (Oscars).

Guzaarish awares you about the beauty of life--Bhansali
'Guzaarish', featuring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Hrithik Roshan in lead roles, reveals about the journey of a quadriplegic patient and the pain that he undergoes in his life.

The movie even explores the mercy-killing concept, as the patient in the film, enacted by Hrithik Roshan, refuses to bear any more suffering.

Set up on a budget of 75 crore, the heart rending film had an excellent script with soothing music and marvelous cinematography. However, it managed to garner nearly 30 crore.

Talking about the film, SLB said, "The movie makes you aware about the beauty of life and what we have and how we should cherish what we have. I have learnt so much about living a good life, of becoming a better human being and of evolving as a person."

Hrithik's special gift for Bhansali
Tagged as the Greek God of tinsel town, Hrithik Roshan never forgets the one he admires. And one such personality is Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

Interestingly, Hrithik, who was quite elated with the altercations that 'Guzaarish' had brought in his life, recently gifted Sanjay a watch on his birthday.

Palpably, Sanjay, who turned 48 on Thursday, was stunned with such sweet gesture by Duggu, and said, “Hrithik didn't have to do this. We shared a very comfortable working relationship during Guzaarish.

“Now, even though Guzaarish is over and there is no talk of another film with Hrithik, he has still kept in touch. This is very rare in this profession where relationships change every Friday.”
