Akshay to have a cool look in 'Housefull 2'

After the success of Sajid Khan’s romantic comedy film ‘Housefull’, the filmmaker is all set to start shooting for the sequel in which he promises to bring Akshay in a cool new look.

Sajid Khan, who is currently busy with the pre-production work for the ‘Housefull’ sequel that has been tentatively titled ‘Housefull 2’, says that the ‘Khatron Ka Khiladi’ Akshay Kumar will don one of his coolest look in the film.

"We've really enhanced the cool quotient for Akshay in Housefull 2. The Akshay that you'll see in ‘Housefull 2’ has never been seen before," Sajid informed.

Reports claim that the movie will showcase some of the most bloodcurdling action sequences and the script for the new movie has been penned down by the ‘Golmaal’ scriptwriters, Sajid-Farhan.

James Bond influence in ‘Housefull 2’
The filmmaker said that as he has been deeply influenced by Hollywood’s James Bond since childhood, so there is some influence of that in the sequel.

He said, "If Akshay played a Sad Sack in Housefull, he plays the coolest character of his career in Housefull 2. And yes, James Bond is a deep influence on me. As a child I remember seeing exotic countries as locations in the Bond films."

A source also informed that the introductory action sequence of Akshay would be directed by the ‘Mission Impossible 4’ stunt coordinator Robert Alonzo.

’Housefull 2’ promos to release during Cricket World Cup 2011
Even though the shooting of the movie which has Akshay Kumar, John Abraham, Rishi Kapoor, Randhir Kapoor, Asin, Rahul Khanna, Jacqueline Fernandez and Mithun Chakraborty in pivotal roles, is yet to start, Sajid plans to release the movie promos during the ongoing Cricket World Cup.

“Apart from investing a whopping amount in the production of the film, Nadiadwala is also going all out to promote it almost a year before its release. He is very kicked about the project,” a source revealed.

Akshay Kumar fans are eager to see the actor’s new avatar and we hope ‘Housefull 2’, which releases some time in 2012, will be a double bonanza of fun and comedy.
