I want to ask women how they maintain long hair--SRK

Though the fans are going gaga over B-town superstar Shahrukh Khan’s messy hair that he dons in his upcoming movie ‘Don 2’, the actor is probably unhappy.

Reportedly, during the launch of documentary on ‘Mughal-E-Azam – A Tribute By A Son To His Father’ at JW Marriot Hotel, produced by Red Chillies Entertainment, SRK said that maintaining long hair was posing as a serious issue for him.

“I haven't shaved for so many days. I have huge respect for women, but really want to ask them how they maintain their long hair. I wake up in the morning and have to set it. I can't take a proper bath. They had to be washed with care. I am really, really looking forward to the shooting of 'Don 2' to wrap up," he told the media persons.

"My daughter tells me 'Papa I want to take you for a bath'. It's a huge problem. No sooner than the shooting of 'Don 2' finishes, I will take out this wig," the actor said.

SRK’s ‘Don 2’ look not recommended by hair experts
Shahrukh Khan’s ‘Don 2’ hair-do has been liked by many youngsters, who vouch for getting their hair styled in a similar fashion, but the hair experts feel that getting SRK’s ‘Don 2’ hair is not a great idea.

Hairstylist Road Ankar said, “Hollywood stars like Gérard Depardieu and Johnny Depp have sported the look earlier. But it’s not something I’d recommend. It’s tedious to manage and maintain as you need too many hair products to get the look,” he said.

Mughal-E-Azam is mother of all films, says SRK
The idea to preserve classic films was first introduced to SRK by Hollywood filmmaker Martin Scorsese, who met the Bollywood star at the Berlin Film Festival.

And then again by Akbar Asif, son of filmmaker K. Asif, in London, where the superstar was shooting for ‘Ra.One’.

“I was moved by the passion with which the family spoke about their father’s classic… not to forget their perseverance in fulfilling his dream of releasing Mughal-E-Azam in color,” said Khan.

The actor said that the classic movie cannot be remade as it was the mother of all films.

“My motive behind making this documentary is that all of us should spend money to digitize such movies. Only then will we be able to preserve our heritage for a long long time to come,” he concluded.
