Reportedly, ‘Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 4’ which has Madhuri as one of its three judges apart from Malaika Arora Khan and choreographer Remo, saw an opening rating of 5.6 TVR and ‘Zor Ka Jhatka’ hosted by Shahrukh Khan opened to only 2.6 TVR.

Even Salman Khan’s ‘Bigg Boss 4’ and Amitabh Bachchan’s ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati season 4’ had done better jobs in their opening weeks, but still the NDTV Imagine crew is happy as it is the first time that one of its show is making it move to the top position.

Buzz has it that the show based on the famous reality show of the west titled ‘Wipeout’ is not the regular run-off-the-mill adventure show and all its competitions are water-based.

Even though the low opening TRP ratings are nothing to boast about, it is a good start for the channel, all thanks to King Khan.

“Shah Rukh Khan's witty one liners and remarks are working! His Band Baaja Baaraat type Delhi lingo and jokes have made the show a smash hit up North in Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan and UP,” informs Nikhil Madhok, Senior Director Marketing and Communication, Imagine TV.

The channel producers are happy to have achieved the little success which will help it thrive in this competition-ridden market and is confident that the SRK magic is going to take them to new heights.

SRK in 'Zor Ka Jhatka 2'?
NDTV Imagine is considering roping in the superstar for season 2 of the show that is doing good business for the channel.

Nikhil says, “We haven’t spoken to Shah Rukh for the second season. Since it is an expensive show, we will need to work out the timing in such a way that it doesn’t burn too big a hole in the channel’s pocket. SRK will be back in Season 2.”

Well, we sure hope that SRK is able to make ‘Zor Ka Jhatka’ a crowd puller!
