Before acting, Akshay Kumar was working as a chef in Thailand and learned martial arts as well....

The much-hyped film was supposed to release in early June this year, however, it was delayed for a Diwali release due to the addition of certain special effects and engrossing action sequences.
Reportedly, many Hollywood post-production companies have approached the producers to convert the film into 3D format.
'Ra.One' in 3D format?
It was SRK's son Aryan's wish to see his dad playing a super hero, and probably, he might be more than happy now as many companies are accosting the producers, suggesting them to release the film in 3D.
Though nothing has been confirmed yet, the team of 'Ra.One' is elated with the response from the Hollywood companies.
Presently, the team is busy on the post-production effects in the film, and will be able to confirm, after the completion of work in April.
A little birdie familiar with the matter revealed, “Even though we have shot in the standard live action format, we all think it would be cool to have the film in 3D.
“It is not just specialist teams from the West but also our very own Prime Focus that has initiated discussions on how they plan to convert the film to 3D.”
“SRK and Anubhav will decide on the 3D details after the post-production is more or less complete,” added the source.
Director's take
Director of 'Ra.One', Anubhav Sinha clarified all the rumors about his forthcoming venture and said, “Right now, the whole post-production work on the film is taking place at various levels. Although we have been approached, we haven’t yet taken a call on the conversion.”
“But of course, we’ll first need to see the tests to have a better perspective of what kind of 3D look they have in mind for our film.
“Depending on that we shall take a call on whether to convert it or stick to the live action format we have already shot,” added the 'Cash' famed director.
'Ra.One' DVD to have alternate endings
As per the latest tabloid reports, the 'Ra.One' DVD's will soon feature multiple endings, just like the Hollywood DVD's.
Initially, SRK was planning to have different endings in various theatrical versions of the film. But later, he scrapped the idea as he was not satisfied with the idea of taking such huge risk.
