Based on Ruskin Bond's short story, Susanna's Seven Husbands, '7 Khoon Maaf' is entirely a woman centric film with seven actors as her support system.

Ecstatic about his forthcoming film, where he enacts Priyanka's first husband, Neil said, “It definitely was a dream come true for me to get a chance to work with Vishal sir! He truly is a genius. This film has taught me a lot.”

Neil opens up about his role in '7 Khoon Maaf'
Revealing about his character in '7 Khoon Maaf', Neil said, “My character in Saat Khoon Maaf is that of Major Edwin Rodriguez.

“The character I play is so different from what I am in real life. It took a lot of preparation work to understand and project it on screen.”

It will be the first time when this 29-year-old actor will be seen donning a moustache in the film. This new look has been inspired by Neil's uncle, Mohnish Mukesh.

Commenting on the significance of Priyanka's character in the film, Neil said that '7 Khoon Maaf' is basically PC's film as she plays a pivotal role.

“Of course it's her film. But we seven husbands are like her support systems. If not for us, whom would she kill!," said Neil.

“So if the girl is important so are her seven husbands. The story would have been incomplete even without one of them. The movie has a great and huge cast.”

Reportedly, the recently released trailers of the film is making the audience go gaga about the film.

It's believed that Piggy Chops has been receiving many calls from the industry insiders, where people have complimented her performance in '7 Khoon Maaf'.

Presently, Priyanka is one of the top reigning actresses in the industry.

Talking about her top position in the industry, PC said, “From my first film to Saat Khoon Maaf, I consider myself the No. 1 actress. I don't believe in poll results and surveys. For me, I am the No. 1.”

About '7 Khoon Maaf'
Directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, '7 Khoon Maaf' is about a gorgeous lass Susanna Anna-Marie Johannes, who marries seven times due to the mysterious deaths of her husbands. And at the end, becomes the prime suspect of the killings.

Besides the 'Adamkhor Major' (Neil), the film features six more stories, 'Ek Duje Ke Liye' with John Abraham, 'Musafir' with Irrfan Khan, 'Amar Prem' with Aleksandr Dyachenko, 'Pyar Ki Keemat' with Anu Kapoor, 'Mushroom Da' with Naseeruddin Shah, and 'Prem Pujari' with Vivaan Shah.

'7 Khoon Maaf' is slated to hit the theatres on Feb. 18, 2011.
