Miffed with media reports suggesting that she was trying to re-unite with ex-flame after her rumored break-up with Ranbir Kapoor, the actor clarified that she gave-up her annual family celebration in London, as she was working in Mumbai during New Year's.

An exasperated Kat said, “I’m here in Mumbai rehearsing for my performance at an awards function next week.

“Why would I go to Dubai? If I could be away from my commitments in India I’d be with my family in London, as I always am at this time.”

Katrina wants Salman back?
Recently, multiple tabloids were abuzz with the news that Ranbir was dating his 'Rockstar' co-star and model Nargis Fakhri and ostensibly broke up with Katrina during their respective shoots in Delhi.

Rumors are rife that after her break-up with Ranbir, Katrina wants to get back with Salman and his family without letting media know about it.

A source familiar with the matter informed, "Last year she had apparently visited Ranbir Kapoor in New York while he was shooting for Anjaana Anjaani. Katrina is keen to get back into the Khan family fold again but she doesn't want the media know about it.

“Last week, she was very upset when she had gone to wish Salman a day before his birthday (on Christmas) at his Bandra residence and photographers had caught her in the act. Right now, Katrina is still testing the waters with Salman," said the source.

When asked, whether she was expected to join the Khan family in Dubai, an infuriated Katrina said, “Why would I not visit his home?

“And why would I try to hide the visit? Have I ever said I am no longer friends with Salman and his family? They’ll be a part of my life even when Salman is seeing someone else.

"And even if and when, I’ll be seeing someone his family would be dear to me.”
