It's learnt that Shammi is suffering from kidney related ailments and is admitted in Breach Candy hospital, meanwhile, the 72-year-old Shashi Kapoor had been admitted at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Andheri on Dec. 12 in a serious condition.

After having met his old friends, Amitabh wrote on micro blogging site Twitter about Shashi had tweeted, “Went to visit Shashi Kapoor in hospital and pained to see him in such condition... prayers for him please.”

Meanwhile, Amitabh also posted about Shammi’s condition in Twitterati and praised him for being as charming and funny as always, even in this plight.

While Amitabh’s comments proved to be confusing for some of his fans since they thought that Big B made an error while typing, but Senior Bachchan cleared their confusion and re-tweeted, “Just visited Shammi Kapoor Ji in hospital. Despite his condition, he is full of life joy and fun. A true star... Get well soon. Many wondering if I have made a typo error about Shammi Ji and Shashi Ji... no I have not... they are both in hospital.”

Amitabh lends his voice for Aamir’s ‘Delhi Belly’
After lending his voice for Aamir’s first home production ‘Lagaan’, now Amitabh had dubbed his voice for Aamir’s ‘Delhi Belly’.

It’s heard that Aamir and his wife Kiran Rao went to Amitabh to ask him to be a narrator in his film by lending his baritone voice for the film.

Amitabh incidentally read the script that Aamir had written and was happy to lend his voice for Aamir.
