Akki promotes TMK in London

‘Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi’ Akshay Kumar is back in news and this time for the promotion of his upcoming movie ‘Tees Maar Khan’, releasing this Christmas.

Reportedly, at the promotional event of the movie in London, the actor, who had recently canceled a Dubai trip due to back problem, climbed onto a thin beam of the ticket window for his fans.

His London visit is a part of the 25 day world tour, accompanied by director Farah Khan, co-star Katrina Kaif and other crew members of the film.

While the fans were super excited to see their favorite hero performing stunts for them, Akshay asked them to watch his movie and free tickets were also distributed to the lucky ones.

A source said, “Only two days prior to this, Akshay had jumped across a table to talk to the media while attending the launch of the multi-platform game of the film in Mumbai.”

Akshay, a savior
Recently in London, B-town thespian Akshay Kumar saved the lives of two children. It all happened while meeting the fans in London, when the macho man saw a little girl crying, and he instantly jumped into the crowd and safely handed over the girl to her mother.

Later, he saw another child trapped in the crowd, who had strayed away from her parents. He took her to the stage and called out her parents. The father of the little girl thanked the star and clicked the picture of his child with the humble actor.

The crowds cheered the actor, after his noble act and the event continued. He had been seen saving people in movies, but his real life stunt just made him more popular.

Audience love masala movies, says Akshay
Interestingly, the actor revealed that before signing a movie, he considers the public demand as currently, the audience love masala movies.

“I love to play different roles and I am not afraid to experiment. But I have always known that only commercial cinema really works here. Oscar-winning movies never tend to work in India. It curbs what aspiring actors want to do in their careers,” he said.

“Masala movies are awesome, but sometimes one wants to break boundaries, create epics and perform challenging roles. But then India’s masses are not really interested in those films.

“Life is stressful enough that they just want to be entertained and really, I can’t blame them. Tees Maar Khan stands for the masses and pleasing them is all that I ever want to do.”

Well, we surely agree with you Akki. Here's wishing you luck for your forthcoming release 'Tees Maar Khan'.
