SRK's reaction was unexpected--Farah Khan

It's seems Farah Khan has had enough of questions raised on her no more amicable relations with SRK, and finally, broke her silence in a recent interview with Mid-Day.

Interestingly, Farah revealed that she had least expected SRK's stringent reaction, when she revealed him about casting another actor in her film, and thought that he would understand her stance, considering the existing circumstances.

Indeed, Farah had once said that she would never make a film without SRK.

Why didn't Farah rope in SRK for her next?
Citing the reason for not penciling in SRK for her next, she said that her films were considered a hit just because of SRK and not because of her work.

Strangely, many people in the industry started alleging that her films worked, not for the content, but due to SRK's existence.

And evidently, she thought about making her own identity in the industry, and took the “emotional decision” of not roping in SRK.

Currently, she is happy to call 'Tees Maar Khan' her movie, and is ready to accept all criticisms on the film.

Revealing about what actually happened, Farah said, “I knew that it was going to rock the boat and I could've just stayed in that position but there were too many things happening that maybe, I didn't like at that time and my decision was a reaction to that.

“And if I hadn't done this, maybe the boat would not have rocked but I would not have felt good about myself. I had to take this decision.

“I think more than anything, he also reacted radically to my decision. There also, things went a little haywire. He reacted more than I thought he would when I told him that I was starting my film with another hero.”

Farah to befriend SRK?
Few days ago, in a candid conversation with Karan Johar on 'Koffee With Karan', SRK apologized to his frenemies, Farah and Salman, and confessed that if they are not talking to him, then he might be at fault.

The message conveyed by SRK to his friend-turned-foes was well received by Farah, though no reaction came from Salman's side.

Revealing about her camaraderie with SRK, Farah said, “There is nothing permanent here, I have realised that. And even now when I meet him which hasn't happened in the last six months things were normal, as if nothing was wrong. We met at the hospital, where we'd both gone to visit Bobby Chawla.”

Well, it will be good to see Salman, SRK and Farah back. What say?
