This year has been a year of rom-coms for Bollywood and the latest addition to the list is Yash Raj Films upcoming venture ‘Band Baaja Baaraat’, all set to hit the silver screen tomorrow.

This Aditya Chopra film, set in the backdrop of a big fat Punjabi wedding in Delhi, features ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’ fame Anushka Sharma and newcomer lad Ranveer Singh as the lead pair.

The music of this film is already a rage among the music lovers and the promos have made it a much-awaited movie for people in love with Yash-style movies.

Directed by debutant director Maneesh Sharma, ‘Band Baaja Baaraat’ is about two wedding planners Shruti Kakkar and Bittoo Sharma, played by Anushka and Ranveer, respectively.

Synopsis
One of the strong points of the movie is Shruti’s lively acts that add spice to the drama. She is a fresh graduate, who aims to make it big.

However, the male character is just the opposite. He is calm and laid-back, and is often seeing rescuing people from the wrath of Shruti. He is confused and undecided on what to do after finishing college from Delhi University.

Talking about the storyline of the movie, Shruti and Bittoo have a chance encounter (or what Bollywood calls destiny) and both decide to start a wedding planner business.

While working on the wedding, the duo face many ups and downs and in the process, they learn a lot about what all goes around while arranging a lavish Indian wedding.

The movie shows their journey while planning the wedding and story becomes a bit obvious in the second half of the story when the two, who had a strictly-professional relationship, fall in love with each other.

'Jisse vyapaar karo usse kabhi naa pyaar karo' philosophy with which they start their business gradually sees a twist and becomes the opposite. Their fun ride and their constant fights are an attraction of the movie.

Verdict
Experts have estimated that the movie will do well and it is an entertaining movie, with no regular “rona-dhona”, but has all the vital elements needed in a hot B-Town movie.

So, all those who love Indian wedding, ‘Band Baaja Baaraat’ is just for you.
