Bollywood's Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan would have lost his life while performing a daring...

In his first ever interview given to The Times of India, after the incident, Sawant revealed that contrary to all the media reports, he and Prajakta were neither drunk nor were racing when her car suddenly smashed into a scooter, which ended up injuring the teenage riders on Tuesday night.
"I am terribly upset by these allegations. I was neither drunk, nor was I engaging in a race with Prajakta," said the singer.
As per the singer, he’s being wrongfully dragged into the mess as he was not even present, when the whole incident unfolded.
What exactly transpired
Sawant narrated exactly what happened on the fateful Tuesday night.
Sawant told TOI that he reached the accident scene only after getting a frantic call from his friend Prajakta, who seemed to be in shock after the accident and wanted him to arrive as soon as possible as the mob was getting violent.
After getting her call, he immediately “drove to the scene of the accident at Daulat Nagar in Santa Cruz to help her,” revealed Abhijeet.
After arriving at the scene, Sawant tried his level best to keep the mob’s fury under control. However, despite his best efforts, the mob got violent and not just manhandled two of Prajakta friends, but also started beating him.
Sawant ruefully added that police did nothing to prevent them from the angry mob.
Not drunk
Later in the day, Sawant and Prajakta also held a press conference at Andheri to clarify everything related to the incident.
Prajakta too, in her statement maintained that she was not in inebriated state, when the accident happened and her medical tests are proof of that.
"The police even searched our cars and bags for evidence," but found nothing, added Prajakta.
