Life’s good post break up—Ameesha Patel

Tabloids finally caught up with Bollywood actress Ameesha Patel, who made her debut with blockbuster film ‘Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai’ in 2000, opposite Hrithik Roshan, when she was recently coming out of a multiplex after watching ‘Break Ke Baad'.

Since the actress has not given a single interview after her break-up with ex beau Kanav Puri, everyone was curious to know how she’s dealing with heart-break (if any).

“I am loving every minute of being single. Life has been good post break up and I have nothing to complain about,” revealed the actress, who after dating Puri for couple of years decided to end the relationship as they reportedly had different vision of future.

Ameesha, rather seemed optimistic about the whole thing and added, “We all go through situations in life that are challenging, but eventually everything works out for the best.”

Definitely not enemies
Ameesha throughout her talks with tabloids was not just polite, but also sportingly answered almost all the questions.

Since she was in such a good mood, tabloids did not want to miss out on the opportunity to know what kind of relation she shares with her ex post break-up.

“Well, I wouldn't say friends, but we aren't enemies either. The break up was mutual so there isn't any bad blood between us. He did call a while back, but we aren't in touch on a regular basis,” clarified Ameesha, who has been missing from the film scene for quite some time now.

No similarities
No one knows for sure why Ameesha and Kanav parted ways. However, as per tabloids, Kanav wanted to marry Ameesha, while she wanted to give her sinking career one more chance.

So when asked if she found any similarities between herself and Deepika’s ambitious character in ‘Break Ke Baad', who left her perfectly happy life behind to follow her dreams, Ameesha replied, "Not really.

"I don't think there is anything similar between the two of us. Things didn't work out between Kanav and me because of certain reasons. There aren't any parallels between the film and my life.”

Similarities or not, Ameesha did not forget to mention, how much she enjoyed the movie, and Imran and Deepika’s performances.
