Bollywood Last Week: Good share of starry spice

Last week kicked off with Hollywood hottie Pamela Anderson, who got a flavor of the Indian crowd waiting to get a glimpse of her, when she arrived at the Mumbai airport for the reality show ‘Bigg Boss 4’.

Her 20 plus bodyguards had a tough time saving her from all corners from the mob that had gathered. The hottie was persistently being touched for autographs and pictures that she was completely sickened with the attention after sometime.

On the painful tumbling side, Sonam Kapoor got herself covered in bruises on her hand while shooting for ‘Players’ with Abhishek Bachchan. The actress was supposed to fall on her hand for a song sequence, but she ended up doing it 17 times to get the act right, that she was unfortunately left with a badly injured hand.

In the denial front, there are reports that Rakesh Roshan is keen for roping in Aishwarya for the female lead in the ‘Krrish’ sequel, as he believes that Aish and Hrtihik’s on-screen chemistry can add spice to the film like their earlier ventures. However, there are rumors that Aish is planning to turn down the offer as she wants to take a long break and is keen on starting a family.

Bollywood gupshup
While speaking about the Kapoors, besides Ranbir, the other popular one in the family, Kareena is nursing the hope of putting an end to all the unpleasant rumors surrounding her and Saif’s kids. There had been several speculations that Bebo is not getting along with her beau’s kids.

To put a cap to these rumors, Kareena is taking a break from their hectic schedules and has decided to take a holiday with Saif and his family abode in Pataudi and it’s heard that his kids will also be tagging along with them.

On the other hand, it’s heard that Rajshri Productions’ forthcoming film ‘Isi Life Mein’ will see Salman doing a cameo and the actor has agreed to it.

Incidentally, playing a mute character in the ‘Golmaal’ series might have bored Tusshar as the actor is now gunning for more romantic and action roles than doing comedy genres. At present, the actor is excited that about his forthcoming films ‘Shorr’ and ‘Love You Mr Kalakaar’.

Esha Deol, on the other hand, is looking forward not to her next release, but is eagerly waiting to see her dad’s upcoming film ‘Yamla Pagla Deewana’, also featuring her brothers, Sunny and Bobby. Seeing her family flick’s posters in a theatre recently, the actress supposedly couldn’t stop talking about the film and was seen dancing in excitement.

Salman watches Aishwarya’s film
Salman might have refused the ‘Guzaarish’ cast to promote their latest flick in ‘Bigg Boss 4’, but surprisingly, the actor was interested to watch the movie before its release.

The actor chose to watch the movie in Ketnav Studios in Bandra, while it’s heard that Aishwarya and her hubby Abhishek, and Hrithik’s family watched ‘Guzaarish’ with a selective crowd in Yash Raj Studios. Apparently, Salman didn’t want to be present at the special screening.

Asin and Neil are bonding too closely?
These days we hear that Asin and Neil Nitin Mukesh have become too close. It’s rumored that their fondness for each other is visibly obvious to everyone. Incidentally for Neil’s upcoming venture ‘Pocketmaar’, the actor has been asking the producer of the film, Ravi Chopra to rope in Asin.

Interestingly, Ravi still hasn’t taken a call yet since he wants to do the casting of the female lead leisurely and doesn’t want to rush into things.

Katrina loves playing cricket
Katrina is in the spot light these days not for her movies, but for her cricket craze. The actress who enjoys watching the game is sporty by nature and loves playing the game.

It’s learnt that at her every film’s shooting spot, the actress takes interest in a new sport and interestingly, from her last stunner ‘Raajneeti’ to her recent film ‘Mere Brother Ki Dulhan’, the actress has been playing cricket on the film sets.

Aamir to become a TV host
After seeing his counterparts’ stints on the small screen, it’s now Aamir’s turn. The actor will be making his small screen debut very soon.

Surprsingly, Aamir has agreed to host a reality TV show for a leading channel. It’s heard that he would be playing host for ‘Signal Pe Khel’, which is supposedly a quiz competition and questions will be based on traffic rules.

Meanwhile, there have been reports that Aamir was not the first choice for this quiz show, since the channel had earlier approached Ajay Devgan, and the actor flatly refused to take it up.

Katrina makes a deal with Vishal Dadlani
Vishal has, not only, composed the peppy item track ‘Sheila Ki Jawaani’ in 'Tees Maar Khan’, but has also done a small cameo in the song as an ogling lecherous film producer. Strangely, Farah was quite impressed with his performance.

Meanwhile, speaking about his performance in the song, Katrina stated that Vishal is brilliant and she has struck a deal with the singer that if the song becomes a big hit, she would give him a small percentage from her earnings.

Incidentally, Vishal is said to be confident that the steamy song will be a hit and expects Katrina to seal the promised deal.

SRK to work with Yash Chopra
Yash Chopra has set plans to get into direction after 5 years and the filmmaker has already roped in SRK for the film.

The announcement for the untitled film will be done beginning of next year. There already is a whole lot of curiosity surrounding the film, as to who would be playing King Khan’s leading lady. It was first rumored to be Deepika, but it now looks like Katrina as she has been telling the whole world that she would be the female lead in the film.

RGV to rope in Sonu for next?
For his forthcoming venture, Ram Gopal Varma is looking forward to cast the 'Dabangg' villain Sonu Sood. It’s learnt that the film is going to be a thriller, and will be shot in the Amazon and Congo forests.

Other than Sonu, the filmmaker is also on the verge of bringing John Abraham for the flick, since the character in his flick needs to have a good body and John looks perfect. Ramu is supposedly looking for a guy who has a perfect body.

Films this week
Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Guzaarish’ surprisingly bombed at the box-office on the initial day, despite having an interesting storyline.

One of the reasons for less collection by 'Guzaarish' is ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows'.
