Aishwarya wants steamy scenes cut from ‘Heroine’

It seems like no top Bollywood heroine is agreeing to star in critically acclaimed filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar’s upcoming flick ‘Heroine’, unless he either completely shelves or atleast cut down the intimate scenes in it.

As per latest tabloids buzz, after Kareena Kapoor, A-list actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has been approached for the film, but just like Kareena, Aish too has objected to intimate scenes in the film.

Reportedly, Aish, who’s now Bachchan khandaan’s cherished bahu, is keen to star in the film, but only if producers of the film agrees with “no-intimate scenes of any kind” clause.

Aishwarya, post-marriage, is not open to films that boosts of steamy intimate scenes.

Apparently, Madhur’s much-hyped ‘Heroine’ is largely a women-centric film, and is inspired from some yesteryear actresses lives, from Bollywood and Hollywood alike.

The film’s script is bold in its nature and boosts of having a few steamy intimate scenes.

Not in talks with Aish
There might not be any confirmation from Aish side on the matter, but when Madhur was contacted to know about his views on the reports, he not just denied for approaching Aish, but also added that he’s not even considering her for ‘Heroine'.

“I am not in talks with Ash or any other actress about `Heroine`. The project is on hold till `Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji` releases in January 2011. I have just finished a 70 day schedule and I am now editing the film,” said the National Award winner.

Apparently, Madhur is not one of the filmmakers, who go to lengths to cater to actors whims, he’s known for his unrelenting and uncompromising attitude when it comes to making changes in his script.

Another actress, if not Aish?
As per sources close to filmmaker, if Madhur can let Kareena, who was his first choice for the film, walk out of it, then he might not mind Aish’s refusal as co-producers UTV, not him, approached her for the project.

"Madhur has incorporated all the vital elements in his script and the love making scenes are an important part,” so change is not on cards, as per an insider.
