Golmaal 3: To tickle your funny bones

This Diwali, get ready to laugh your heart out with director Rohit Shetty’s ‘Golmaal 3’, releasing this weekend.

The latest sequel of the blockbuster ‘Golmaal’ series is expected to be bigger, funnier and a package of entertainment that will keep the audience hooked on to their seats.

Ajay Devgan, who plays the lead role as Gopal, said, “The film is crazier than its predecessors. We've kept the family audience in mind. So it's a clean comedy that the entire family can sit together and watch, without anyone cringing in their seats.”

The star cast, Ajay Devgan, Kareena Kapoor, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor and Shreyas Talpade, is the same for this part of the hit series and the main elements are also the same.

Kunal Khemu, Johnny Lever, Sanjay Mishra, Vrajesh Hirjee, Ashwini Kalsekar and veteran star Mithun Chakraborty are the new additions in the trilogy and a fresh storyline has also been adopted to make the movie refreshing.

Synopsis
This time round, the story revolves on a joint family that lives together through all thick and thin, but cannot stand each other and always try to pull each other down.

Talking about the storyline, on one side are Gopal and Laxman (Shreyas), who are real brothers and on the other side are three siblings, Lucky (Tusshar), Laxman (Kunal) and Madhav (Arshad).

Gopal’s brother cannot stand him and so, there is constant fighting and leg pulling throughout the movie. Kareena plays the role of Gopal’s wife.

Character traits
Most of the characters in ‘Golmaal 3’ have strange qualities.

Tusshar Kapoor’s character plays his trademark dumb man’s role and Shreyas’s character keeps stammering. Ajay portrays a short tempered man and his wife is violent, who abuses people at the click of a finger.

Kunal plays a garrulous character and Johnny keeps forgetting everything.

"On the demand of the audience we have made 'Golmaal 3'. It's not a slapstick comedy; you can enjoy the film with your family. This time the script of the film is bigger, better and includes a lot of fun elements," Shetty said.
