The film, which is readying up for a gala release this Friday, has already been making more waves than Rohit Shetty's ‘Golmaal 3', for its groovy retro romcom theme.

Aish and Akki not going to Ahmedabad
Vipul has decided to hold a special preview of his upcoming film for the Indian cricket team by making a trip to Ahmedabad, as the team is currently playing there.

It’s also believed that the lead actors of the film Aishwarya and Akshay will not be accompanying Vipul for the special show. Instead, Aditya Roy Kapoor and Ranvijay Singh would be going along with the filmmaker.

Speaking about Akki and Aish, Vipul stated, “Akshay is shooting for the grand finale of his show, MasterChef India, while Ash is celebrating her birthday. So I can’t expect her to travel out of town.”

The much-hyped film will surely be a treat for audiences, as Vipul has presented the lead actors Akki and Aishwarya differently in the film.

Talking about Akki-Aish’s image makeover in ‘Action Replayy’, Vipul stated, "When Akshay played a blind man in Aankhen, it was something new. Later ‘Waqt’ was a family film for Akshay when he was doing quite a few comedies. Namastey , London was a romantic musical that Akshay was doing after long and now it is a retro outing for him; something that he has never done before.

"I am happy that whether it is Akshay as well as Ash, I have managed to present them both differently."
