Bebo observes karva chauth fast for Saif?

It seems like Bollywood’s IT couple Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan are quite serious about each other. If tabloids report are to be believed, then Kareena had observed this year’s karva chauth fast for beau Saif.

As per insiders familiar with the matter, Kareena, who’s very busy with the promotional work of her soon-to-be released comedy flick ‘Golmaal 3’ these days, decided not to skip the fast this year due to work.

Kareena stayed at Pataudi in Saif's ancestral home and flew to Delhi on Tuesday morning to join 'Golmaal 3' cast and crew at the promotional event.

Karva chauth fast is usually observed by Hindu and some Sikh married women in northern Indian states for the welfare of their husbands. However, in past few years, the tradition has spread across other states and these days even young unmarried women too are observing the fast.

Too late to cancel
Apparently, Kareena could have taken it easy like any other woman fasting on karva chauth if only she had realized on time that 'Golmaal 3’s' promotional event and fast coincided with each other on Oct. 26.

However, she did not know about it when she had agreed to join her co-stars Ajay Devgan, Tusshar Kapoor, Arshad Warsi, Shreyas Talpade and Kunal Khemu, for a promotional event couple of months ago.

Reportedly, she realized it just few days before karva chauth and was worried about having to observe the fast without food and water for a whole day along with attending to G3’s promotional event the very same day.

But it was too late by then to either cancel the event or change the date.

Miffed Kareena
Meanwhile, Kareena might have attended the promotional event of 'Golmaal 3', but, she looked miffed throughout the conference and preferred either to stay quite or talk with her co-stars.

She did not entertain any of tabloids questions regarding G3 or her upcoming projects like 'Ra.One' or her decision to fast for Saif on karva chauth.
