Aishwarya Rai is comfortable with Tamil

After the success of 'Endhiran/Robot', Aishwarya Rai Bachchan claims that she is far more at ease with the Tamil language, than her earlier days when she began her career in the southern industry.

The actress, who has done four films in Tamil, recently revealed that she is familiar with the language and it falls easy on her ear.

Speaking about Tamil, Aishwarya stated, “Probably because I have travelled so much, I am familiar with the language. It falls easy on the ear. I understand it, but I respect the language; so I don't want to break into a conversation in it, unless it's a group which is very forgiving on grammatical errors!"

Aish’s second film with director Shankar
This is the second time that the stunning lady has acted in Shankar’s film after she had acted in his first film ‘Jeans’.

She said that working with Shankar had been an exciting journey for her, since the director had made an entertaining film with great technical expertise much ahead of time.

“He has taken entertainment to the next level and has introduced something technically much ahead of what we have seen in recent times. So for me to go on set, it was more exciting to see the film come together. In terms of my contribution, I was just happy to work in this film," further added Mrs. Junior Bachchan.

Aishwarya’s character in 'Robot' was easier to portray
The film which earned a net collection of 200 to 225 crore in just two weeks has made Aish’s career go on an upswing.

Playing the character of the scientist’s love interest in ‘Robot’ was a cake walk for this world beauty and also this is the first time that the actress has done a typical entertaining genre.

"The character was not difficult to get into the skin of. It's a kind of role that any leading heroine would do. Probably the kind of roles that a lot of leading heroines do in their career, in my case it has been rare," stated the ‘Robot’ actress.
