This was very well proved when media decided to boycott the press conference organized by Metro Shoes at a five-star hotel in Juhu as the brand ambassadors, Saif and Kareena arrived two hours late.

The duo claimed heavy traffic to be the reason behind coming late for the event, and Saif immediately apologized to the media and organizers.

Arrived late
The press conference organized by Metro Shoes, named after their landmark theatre Metro in South Mumbai, was scheduled to start at 8 p.m.

A source familiar with the matter revealed, “The event was to start at 8 pm and the entire media had arrived a little before time.

“After waiting for a while, they asked the organisers of the event about the whereabouts of Saif and Kareena. They were told that the couple was on its way to the venue and should be arriving any time. But that never happened.”

Due to the traffic congestion, the duo arrived two hours late.

Saif apologizes
While the angry media was leaving the location, they saw Saifeena entering the hotel.

Though Saif apologized, the media refused to stay wondering “why it took Saif and Kareena over two hours to reach Juhu from their Bandra residence. The distance can be covered in half an hour.”

The actors said that they were stuck in heavy traffic due to visarjan, but some seemed unconvinced.

A photographer instigated boycott?
Surprisingly, it is believed that the a photographer had grudges with Saif, and he instigated the entire media to leave.

Media relation manager of the event, Riddhi Walia said, “Yes, the media did boycott the event. It was very unfortunate. Saif and Kareena were genuinely stuck in traffic and the media were constantly being updated about the same.

“But one particular photographer, who had personal vendetta against them, instigated the entire media to leave.”

Everything went well
Though a few left the venue, the event was successful. The duo unveiled their images donning the Metro Shoes.

Palpably, the endorsement is interesting as it features the too much in love couple, and both are extremely stylish and good looking.

Kareena, who likes red and gold colour shoes, has nearly 100 pairs of shoes. Commenting about this endorsement, this diva said, “Signing Metro shoes works for us because they are cool and fashionable shoes. People associate me with style and fashion. Metro completely represents that.

Saif prefers wearing black and brown colour shoes. Interestingly, this star has almost three cupboards of shoes.
