Deepika is not part of Vishal’s next
It was earlier confirmed that Deepika would be doing Vishal’s upcoming project ‘Dreams’, however, buzz has it that Dippy has turned down the project since she couldn’t give dates for it.

When sources were asked about this, all they stated was, “There is no animosity between Deepika and Vishal over her decision. They have promised each other to work together in the near future. When Vishal approached Deepika, he had not spoken about the dates for the film.”

It’s believed that from early next year, Dippy will be working on a tight schedule from Jan to June and Vishal wanted her to give him full dates for next year. But incidentally, the actress said a big "no", since she is committed to Rohit Dhawan's ‘Desi Boys’ and also another film.

Earlier it was officially confirmed that Priyanka would be teaming up with Saif in the film, but now it looks like director Siddharth Anand and producer Sajid Nadidwala feel that Deepika would apt for the character of a south-Indian.

Speaking on this, sources close to the film unit stated, “Even before the movie goes on set, there is news that producer Sajid Nadiadwala and director Siddharth feel that Deepika Padukone is a better choice for the role of a South Indian than Priyanka is.”

Moreover, it’s still not yet confirmed whether Deepika has been roped in for this new project, since the makers have not officially announced about the new change in the casting scenario.

“Since everything is very tentative right now, none of the principal star cast nor the the makers wish to go on record. But it may well happen that the Love Aaj Kal pair of Saif and Deepika may return in this contemporary take of Ek Dujje Ke Liye,” further added sources.
