Buzz has it that the current full speed train action sequence in ‘Ra.One’ is predominately much like the train sequence in ‘Robot’, in which Rajni rescues Aish from some hooligans in a speeding train .

Speaking about the similarities in both the film, sources stated, “The two sequences have many special effects and boast of the hero’s never-before-seen stunts on top of a train.”

Shahrukh is a big fan of action sequence
It’s believed that Shahrukh has always been a big fan of action sequences in films that are done on top of speeding trains.

According to the reports, King Khan wanted a sequence that was more on the lines of an action sequence in ‘Sholay’ and not ‘Robot’.

Incidentally, he had planned a similar scene that could be spiced up with a lot of special effects and stunts, and thus, will appeal the audiences when they watch it.

“He wanted to mix that sense of thrill with special effects and stunts in ‘RA.One’. How was he to know that director Shankar had the same thing in mind for Rajnikanth?,” further added sources.

Shahrukh wants to re-edit the scene
With so much allegations swirling about his film having identical action sequence to that of ‘Robot’, Shahrukh has now decided to re-edit the train sequence, so that it doesn't have even a slight resemblance to Rajni’s film.

Rumors are strife that the train sequence had cost him around Rs 3 crore and SRK doesn’t want to get rid of the scene and he’s chasing every possibility to bring a change to that sequence.

When the sound engineer of ‘Ra.One’, Resul Pookutty was asked about this, he stated that since there is an action train sequence in both films, the team is now focusing on making changes in the scene in ’Ra.One’ so that it’s different from ‘Robot’.
