B-town is keeping its fingers crossed that the upcoming films will be minting more money than a slot machine in the coming months, since it’s going to be the festive season in the coming three months.
Speaking about the budget, debutant director Habib Fasial of ‘Do Dooni Chaar’ stated, “It’s a very interesting time for the industry. Budgets are skyrocketing.”
“Every film is a commercial film; the only difference is the budget. We must get returns to make the next film,” added the director.
It’s believed that 29 films are readying up for release from October till December.
‘Do Dooni Chaar’ audiences’ favorite film
After witnessing the high-budgeted ‘Kites’ and ‘Raavan' debacle, Hindi films were doomed but thanks to some blockbuster films like ‘I Hate Luv Storys’, ‘Raajneeti’ and ‘Dabangg’, the film industry is now been given a new lease of life.
Interestingly, the films that had released in the beginning of this month ‘Robot’ and ‘Anjaana Anjaani', are proving to be a hit at the box-office.
Last week saw two new releases ‘Do Dooni Chaar’ and 'Crook'. It’s believed that Habib’s latest vehicle will be riding high at the box-office as it has struck a chord with the audiences for its simple realistic story about a middle class family and their dreams.
Rishi and Neetu won audiences’ heart
The story which revolves around a middle class family and their conflicting issues has seamlessly connected with the audiences and is now proving to be a significant film this season.
Habib has made an instantly likeable film, which has the hit pair of the 80s, Rishi and Neetu in a full fledged role that has already won the hearts of the audience for their chemistry.
Meanwhile, director Habib and script writer Jaideep has garnered a lot of praise for ‘Do Dooni Chaar'.
Speaking about Habib, Jaideep stated, “After contributing to many directors' films with his writing, Habib has made his mark with a lovely film.”
