Rajnikanth hurt for treating him as God

The whole nation might be bowled over by his performance in his latest film ‘Robot’, but Rajnikanth doesn’t seem to be happy these days, after he has been referred as ‘God’ in the comedy film ‘Khichdi’.

The man who swept the whole nation with his humbleness was quite depressed with this act.

Buzz has it that this reigning superstar felt disturbed when the promos of ‘Khichdi’ referred to him as God.

Rajni’s assistant gives a call to ‘Khichdi’ makers
‘Khichdi’, which was simultaneously released with ‘Robot’ and ‘Anjaana Anjaani’ has been doing steady business even after the former two films proved to be a hit.

It’s learnt that Rajni after watching the promos on TV had asked his assistant to give a call to the producer to find out the reason behind his name being used in the promos.

Speaking on this, the producer of Khichdi JD Majethia stated, “I got the call on Monday. Apparently, Rajini sir had asked his assistant to find out the exact nature of the promo. The assistant told me that Rajini sir did not like to be referred as God.”

Meanwhile, Majethia also stated that he would have removed the scene if the superstar had insisted on that. But it looks now that the makers of ‘Khichdi’ and Rajni have sorted the issue.

Rajnikanth loses to Ranbir
After making a clean sweep in south India, it now seems like that Rajnikanth’s ‘Robot’ is not scoring well at the box-office in the north due to the Ranbir-Priyanka starrer ‘Anjaana Anjaani’, which has been doing exceptionally well.

According to reports, Rajni’s ‘Robot’ has earned 7 crores in the first weeken,d while Ranbir and Priayanka’s film had grabbed 26 crores.

Talking about the box-office report, a Trade Analyst stated, “Ranbir-Priyanka have won the first round over Rajinikanth-Aishwarya Rai Bachchan (in the Northern territory and Mumbai). Both the films have opened to a great response, but Ranbir-Priyanka have scored specially well in the multiplexes. But, I must say that Rajini’s film is one of the biggest grossers in recent times overall.”
