Julia Roberts to adopt Indian child

According to latest reports, Hollywood actress Julia Roberts is heading to India for baby number four. The Oscar-winning actress who has three kids, twins Hazel, Finn and Henry with her husband Danny Moder is planning to extend her brood by adopting an Indian child.

Julia Roberts wants a kid from India
The 42-year-old actress, who is practicing Hinduism, wants to adopt a kid from India after she fell in love with the country while filming for ‘Eat, Pray Love' last year.

According to sources, Roberts always had complications in her previous pregnancies and therefore thinks that adoption is the best way to extend her family.

Incidentally, her close friend quoted to Daily Express that Roberts always wanted more children over the years.

“But her past pregnancies were fraught with complications and she was forced into an extended hospital stay right before she had her twins,” further stated Roberts pal.

Julia had already contacted an adoption agency
Due to her special affinity with India, Julia had supposedly asked her contacts to explore the possibilities and had apparently contacted an adoption agency in Bali.

“Julia and Danny love the idea of their kids having another baby in the house. And it feels so right that the next member of the family should come from a different culture,” added a pal.

Meanwhile, the U.S.-based Hindu statesman Rajan Zed is thrilled that Roberts is adopting an Indian orphan.

The Indian scholar further stated that he would be glad to guide her through various sacraments for the new child.

The 'Pretty Woman' star loves practicing Hinduism
Julia, who converted to the new religion, goes to temple with her family and loves chanting and praying.

Speaking to Elle Magazine for the September issue, Roberts stated, “I’m definitely a practising Hindu. Golly, I’ve been so spoiled with my friends and family in this life. Next time I want to be just something quiet and supporting.”
