Incidentally, it’s learnt that Sajid, who’s the producer of the Ranbir-Priyanka starrer ‘Anjaana Anjaani’ is opting not to screen Imran’s ‘Break Ke Baad’ with his film, since he feels that Ranbir wouldn’t be quite pleased about this.
Relaince Big Pictures are releasing the trailer of Imran’s film
It’s a well known fact that Ranbir and Imran, who were friendly at one point of time, are not in talking terms with each other after the latter’s fiancé Avantika passed some hurtful remarks while watching 'Raajneeti' in some theatre.
However, whether Ranbir or Sajid are liking it or not, Reliance Big Pictures and producer Kunal Kohli are keen to attach the trailer of their film ‘Break Ke Baad’ with ‘Anjaana Anjaani’ tomorrow.
Although, Sajid is refusing to attach Imran’s film with ‘Anjaana Anjaani’, due to the stiff competition and hatred between the lead stars, Reliance Big Pictures is not having second thoughts on releasing the theatrical trailer as planned.
Sources close to Kohli’s film stated, “Reliance Big Pictures doesn’t have to pay the theatres. Studios and theatres work on a goodwill basis. Nadiadwala was very polite, but his conversation with Big Pictures clearly implied that he didn’t want to have the trailer of Break Ke Baad playing alongside his film Anjaana Anjaani.”
“Those who have seen the promos of the Imran-Deepika film are raving about it. Besides, the two heroes have always been pitted as rivals and Imran is back in the reckoning with the success of I Hate Luv Storys,” sources further added.
Relaince Big Pictures unware of Sajid’s refusal
Buzz has it that Sajid has openly stated that he is not willing to attach a promo with his forthcoming release.
Speaking on this, Sajid stated, “I am not attaching the trailer of Break Ke Baad in Anjaana Anjaani? This is news to me. My signature would be required to attach it. But you see, I have not been approached by Reliance for the same.”
In the meantime, Preeti Shahani of Reliance Big Pictures, who’s quite unaware of Sajid’s denial, had stated that Big Pictures is keen to release the trailer this weekend due to the fact that three films are releasing tomorrow and Oct. 2 will be a national holiday.
“We’re looking forward to the response now. As a studio, we have good relations with all the theatre chains. And they are more than happy to run the theatrical of Break Ke Baad during all the new releases this Friday” further added Shahani.
