Rift between Salman and Govinda has intensified?

According to the latest tabloids buzz, the rift between Bollywood actor Salman Khan and his good buddy Govinda has intensified.

Apparently, rumor mills started buzzing with such reports when tabloids found out that Govinda was the only one, who stayed away from Salman’s ‘Dabangg’ success party.

An insider on the condition of anonymity revealed that the main reason behind the rift seems to be Salman’s utter disregard for his promise to launch Govinda’s daughter Narmada in Bollywood.

“Things soured between them after the awards function in Sri Lanka ended. Govinda had stuck his neck out and gone to Colombo on Salman's invitation, risking the ban on his film Raavan, and inviting the wrath of the film's cast and crew,” added the insider.

However, Salman’s other close friends like Aamir Khan, David Dhawan, Sajid Nadiadwala, Farah Khan and Subhash Ghai were present at the party.

Govinda confirms absence
When contacted, Govinda confirmed that he had not attended the party but not because of the reasons tabloids are suggesting.

"I wasn't invited to the Dabangg party," said the actor.
Though, he quickly added, "It was a Dabangg party so why should I be invited?"

However, when told about the presence of other friends of Salman, who graced the occasion, Govinda replied, "They must have been part of the promotions. Why should I go for that? I will come for Partner 2 party."

Now, whether he confirms the rift or not but his words seem to be saying a different story.

Salman, Govinda in ‘Partner 2’?
After the reports of rift, tabloids are busy debating over the future of David Dhawan’s upcoming film ‘Partner 2’, which both stars had initially agreed to do.

Govinda has confirmed that he will be working in the film as he believes in keeping friendship and work separate. Even Dhawan is saying that both stars will be seen in the film.

However, no such statement has been released from Salman’s side so far.
