'Dabangg' falls under the top grosser list
This carefully planned entertaining film of the season has fallen into the top grosser list, and has almost become part of the highest grossing list of films like ‘Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge’, ‘Ghajini’ and ‘3 Idiots’.

Speaking about the astonishing success of his film ‘Dabangg’, the producer Arbaaz stated, "From the very beginning, we were clear about what we wanted". "We never attempted to make a "Taare Zameen Par", nor planned to make an intellectually stimulating film. All we said was: come and enjoy yourself!"

This debut filmmaker was always keen that the film should be simple and appeal to all sets of audiences.

“The debut film maker's mantra of cinema is simple. You can either have nothing to say and yet have people flocking in the auditorium or you can have lots to say with nobody coming in to watch your film. Haven't films like "Avatar" and "Indiana Jones" been bigger hits than "Schindler's List"?,” further added Arbaaz.

Another point to be noted about this top grosser is the fact that it has created a record by earning Rs. 116 crores in two weeks.

Aamir wants Salman’s ‘Dabangg’ to make more money than ‘3 Idiots’
Aamir Khan is all excited that his best buddy Salman’s latest blockbuster ‘Dabangg’ is breaking all the box office records.

At the celebration party of the film, Aamir stated, “I am very happy that Salman's 'Dabangg' got such a big success. That's why I have come to give him a hug and congratulate him. I would always pray that his film makes 10 times more than what '3 Idiots' did,"

Meanwhile, Salman, who is glowing with the success of his film, replied, “Thank you so much. I am very happy."
