Apparently, Amisha started dating NRI businessman Kanav in 2007, after breaking up with filmmaker Vikram Bhatt.

However, soon they started encountering problems in their relationship and they decided to take break from each other in February 2010, only to reconcile within a couple of months.

Unfortunately, the couple could not sort out their differences, again, and ended up breaking up, but this time it was final.

As per a source close to the actress, “It has been a while since the two have broken up. Amisha cherishes the relationship and it was good while it lasted.”

The source added, however, “Distance proved to be the final nail in the coffin as the differences never got resolved. They remain good friends, although they do not get to speak to each other often.”

Amisha reason behind break-up?
Rumor has it that it was not distance that took its toll on Amisha and Kanav’s relationship.

Reportedly, its Amisha’s reluctance to bid adieu to her sinking Bollywood career and settle down with Kanav as he was quite serious about tying the knot with her.

Kanav had even proposed to Amisha when he came to India last year in June to celebrate her birthday. Back then, she politely refused and he did not insist.

However, it seems like Kanav felt strongly about marrying his lady-love as he popped the question once again in early December last year. Even then she seemed reluctant to marry him.

Ever since then they are having trouble in their relationship as Kanav wanted to get married as soon as possible while Amisha seemed interested in reviving her Bollywood career.

Amisha not commenting
So far, neither Amisha nor anyone from her side has officially confirmed the break-up reports.

However, as per a close friend of an actress, “Amisha is a strong girl and has been through much. She is okay and dealing with the break-up well.”

Reportedly, she has recently signed Rajkumar Santoshi’s multi-starrer film ‘Power.’
