Sources have revealed that initially Shahid had agreed as his alleged girlfriend actress Priyanka Chopra too was scheduled to walk the ramp at LFW.

He had even rehearsed for the Gen Next show, choreographed by Marc Robinson. However, much to the disappointment of show’s organizers, Shahid at the last moment decided to ditch the whole plan of walking the ramp.

Meanwhile, no one has come out either from LFW or actor’s side to confirm or deny the media speculations.

Shahid keeping his new look hidden?
Ever since these reports have started to emerge, tabloids are busy searching for the reason or reasons behind Shahid’s decision to ditch his commitment.

As per sources familiar with the matter, Shahid decided not to go ahead with the ramp walk at Lakme Fashion Week, as he did not want to reveal his new look that he’s sporting these days for his father’s film ‘Mausam'.

So far father-son duo is doing everything to keep things about ‘Mausam’ hidden from media glare.

Priyanka another possible reason
Another theory from tabloids is this as Priyanka Chopra, Shahid’s alleged current girlfriend, who too was scheduled to walk the ramp at LFW, could be another reason why he backed out of the show.

Sources believe that alleged love-birds are in no mood to give media any fodder to make them into sensational news. So as usual they are avoiding each other at a common event to escape media scrutiny over the nature of their relationship.

However, it has been confirmed by Priyanka’s representatives that she will be walking the ramp as planned.
