Punjani is a Kenya-based wealthy businessman, who Kim met after calling off her engagement with her previous beau Carlos Marin.

A source familiar with the matter disclosed on the condition of anonymity, “It’s a love marriage. The two were dating for a brief period. Kim felt that they should tie the knot quickly.”

“The marriage ceremony was attended by close friends and relatives of Kim and Ali. Kim looked very happy,” further added the source.

Apparently, the wedding ceremony was a hushed-hushed affair, performed in the presence of close family and friends from bride and groom’s side.

Shocking turn of events?
It indeed seems like a shocking turn of events, considering that not-so-famous starlet few months back was dating Spanish singer Carlos Marin.

A couple of months back tabloids even reported that both were ready to get married and after marriage Kim supposed to move to Madrid with Marin.

However, their relationship broke off and Kim, who once dated cricketer Yuvraj Singh for four long years, suddenly met with Ali and decided to marry him after brief courtship.

Bollywood stars indeed are strange creatures as just recently Konkana Sen Sharma married her long time beau Ranvir Shorey after calling off their wedding last year.

So, it’s barely a surprise that Kim got married to her new guy Ali after closing Marin’s chapter recently.

About Kim and her Bollywood career
Kim was born in Ahmednagar on Jan. 21, 1980 and did her schooling from a boarding school in Panchgani.

Kim’s modeling career started by accident, when she landed in close-up ad while on a trip to Mumbai. There was no looking back and she went on to do various ad films for various products.

She got her Bollywood break when she caught producer Aditya Chopra’s eye and debuted in Bollywood with ‘Mohabbatein'.

Though, film was a hit but it did nothing to advance Kim’s career and she disappeared from the silver screen after sometime.
