Indeed, Ranbir is trying to follow the same trend that his grandfather did.
Rishi Kapoor revealed to Mumbai Mirror, “Since my father Raj Kapoor directed his father Prithviraj Kapoor and himself, Ranbir too wants to do the same.”

Where the family film is concerned, the 27-year-old actor made it palpable that he will act in a film with his dad only when his mom agrees to work in it.

With hardly four years of experience and ten films done in the Bollywood industry, Ranbir seems to be quite young to handle this.

Rishi excited about ‘Do Dooni Char’
After working with Neetu in 'Love Aaj kal’, Rishi is confident to rock it again in their forthcoming flick ‘Do Dooni Char’, directed by Habib Faizal.

Convincing Neetu for the film was too difficult for Rishi but finally, the talented actress agreed in the end.

Rishi revealed, “My old colleague Juhi Chawla turned down the role because she didn’t want to play mother to a 15-year old boy. So, I told Neetu about the film.

She said, ‘Are you mad? I haven’t acted for thirty years. Just because I agreed to do one shot in Love Aaj Kal, tum peeche pad gaye.’ I reasoned with her and convinced her finally.”

The versatile actor recently celebrated his 58th birthday and was in a good mood of celebrations as his desire to work with Neetu will soon be fulfilled and his movie along with his son, Ranbir’s, is all set to hit the theatres soon.

Rishi Kapoor to write autobiography?
Grapevine has it that Rishi Kapoor is planning to write autobiography and will ensure that authentic facts are stated and not fabricated ones like written by Vyjanthimala.

“The only problem is, I’ll have to lie a lot in it. I don’t have to cover for any relationships because I’ve never had any (besides Neetu). Still, there are people who might get hurt by what I write; I can’t do what Vyjanthimala did in her autobiography,” said Rishi.

“She lied in it about her relationship with my father. My brother Randhir and I had borne the brunt of that relationship. How could she lie to the world?”
