"Acting is so amazing, you can play parts which are so different from the real you. The 'Jhootha Hi Sahi' promo of John took me by surprise pleasantly," posted Bipasha on her Twitter page.

She added further, "People know him as a stud and in this film, he looks like an adorable simpleton! It's also so different from the real John who I know. Such is the magic of cinema."

The actress went on to add that she has been totally bowled over by the transformation in John’s looks for Abbas Tyrewala's comedy flick ‘Jhootha Hi Sahi.’

Though, audiences verdict on John’s new look is still impending but it looks like the actor has gotten the much needed support and appreciation for his new look at least from his girlfriend Bips.

About film and John’s new look
‘Jhootha Hi Sahi’ is a comical film directed by Abbas Tyrewala, where John will be seen portraying the character named Siddhartha, a messy guy and a compulsive liar.

The character of Siddhartha is unlike any John has played till date as the role required, he wears spectacles, sports a paunch, and looks cute.

As per John, “Sid falls in the cute space - a fun-loving guy with lots of friends.”

The film is scheduled to release sometime in October and it’s story is written by Tyrewala's wife Pakhi, who also featuring in it.

John a cartoonist?
It looks like John has not just turned nerdy for ‘Jhootha Hi Sahi’ but he also found out his hidden talent when Tyrewala was debriefing him about his role in the film.

As per a source, “He was doodling on a piece of paper while listening to Abbas. He started including the characteristics in his doodles that Abbas wanted him to keep in mind while playing out the character.

"The doodling went on to shape up a proper character, which he showed to Abbas. He instantly nick-named the sketch as ‘Jhoota John’.”
