Both actors exchanged weddings vows on Friday evening sharp at 6 p.m., in presence of their family and friends at their Goregaon residence.

The couple has been dating for past three years and had even planned a grand wedding last year that they called off at the very last minute.

Even after tabloid paper Mumbai Mirror’s reported, recently, that couple is all set to tie the knot sometime this week, they managed to keep exact date and time of ceremony secret and people found out only when the whole ceremony was done.

“They both wanted a discreet and intimate affair and that’s how it was,” said a close friend of the couple.

Guest at Konkona-Ranvir’s wedding
As per sources, only few close family and friends attended the wedding ceremony that includes Konkona’s mother Aparna Sen along with her husband Kalyan Roy, father Mukul with wife Vinita, elder sister Kamalini, Ranvir’s parents and couple’s few close friends.

Reportedly, Bollywood celebrities to grace the occasion were actor Fardeen Khan and Shilpa Shetty.

Big B-town celebrities missing from guest list
Both Konkona and Ranvir are known for fiercely protecting their personal lives from media glare.

And by not including who’s who from Bollywood either in their wedding ceremony or reception, they once again proved that when it comes to maintaining some semblance of normalcy in their relationship they are ready to go great lengths, unlike other celebs that make grand show at their weddings.

Commenting on the guest list for Konkona and Ranvir’s reception party, a source familiar with the matter revealed, “Most industry folks were not invited even to this function. Konkona and Ranvir have always been very low profile people and they are not likely to ever change.”
