Salman to compete with Big B on small screen

Not in real life, but in reel life the two Bollywood biggies, Big B and Salman will be seen competing with each other, very soon, on two famous reality shows on two different channels at same time and same day.

Grapevine has it that Sony, who had decided to launch KBC on the birthday of legendary actor Big B, Oct. 11, has decided to launch it along with his rival’s show ‘Bigg Boss’.

Though no date has been confirmed, the show will be aired at same time and day.

Sony miffed with Salman
The channel ‘Sony’ is miffed with Salman’s refusal for ‘Dus Ka Dum’ and so, the channel has decided to give equal competition to Salman’s show.

According to a source familiar with the matter, the tussle has not been over money, but due to Salman’s interest in hosting KBC season 4.

The source said, “Salman shocked the channel by saying that he was interested in doing Kaun Banega Croreopati 4. For this, Salman had sent feelers to the channel via the production house. This was when the channel was in advanced talks with Mr Bachchan.”

A top source from the television industry told Mumbai Mirror, “Kaun Banega Crorepati 4 will lock horns with Bigg Boss 3. It will be an interesting battle.”

“We are confident of Kaun Banega Crorepati 3. The KBC brand is a tried and tested one,” added the top source.

Tough competition for TRPs
With both the shows to be telecast at the same time, there is going to be tough competition for TRPs

Both the hosts of the shows have a special place in their admirers’ heart. On one hand, there is versatile and talented actor Amitabh Bachchan, while on the other, there is Bollywood’s eligible bachelor Salman Khan. It will be quite entertaining to watch the two stars at same time.

Indeed, the success of KBC depends on the way Big B carries the show and hosts it with his charming voice and personality.

But ‘Bigg Boss’ mostly depends on the inmates and the in-house politics as Salman will be hosting the show only on two days.

We wish Salman and Big B all the best!
